Call 911 if this is a life threatening emergency

It is important that you understand that therapy is a process, and it will naturally take time to work on achieving your goals in therapy. The timeframe of therapy is usually based on what you want to work on in therapy, what made you decide to start therapy, and the level of impairment of these issues or symptoms in your daily life.

You have probably heard the phrase, “One size does not fit all.” And this is very true in therapy too! My approach tends to be short-term oriented and trauma informed driven. But if it is clinically appropriate and a different treatment approach is necessary, I can tailor my approach to help you meet your goals in therapy. For some individuals, long-term therapy may be helpful, which is perfectly fine. And for others, short-term brief therapy may be beneficial. Short-term therapy can be as effective as long-term therapy; after all, one size doesn’t fit all.
