I’ll very briefly share with you about my experience and training. I hope that it gives you some insight on my work and if it resonates with you, and you would like to give me the opportunity to work together, give me a call.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (#32906) by the Board of Psychology and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#50145) by the Board of Behavioral Sciences. My clinical experience consists of working with children, adults, and families on a variety of issues such as behavioral and emotional difficulties, relationship issues, anxiety and mood disorders, substance use, and trauma-related issues and disorders.
Over the years, I have gained extensive clinical experience in systems of care while I worked at community mental health agencies that were contracted with the county mental health, probation and children and family services in downtown Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Not only did I provide psychotherapy, but also consisted of supervisory and manager roles.
In private practice, I focused on working with college students and adults who experience depression, anxiety and traumatic experiences. I also provide mental health evaluations for the immigration process.
I have also received training and experience in the following specific evidenced based treatments:
